Take a fireworks cruise in Walt Disney for wife’s 50th birthday

I amazed my wife with an IllumiNations cruise for her 50th birthday. IllumiNations is Epcot’s night fireworks and lazer show.
I booked a 10-person vessel with a captain for about $350. It was about 1 hour 30 minutes, starting off at 8 pm, slowly cruising around Crescent Lake, the lake links Disney’s Hollywood Studios to the back of Epcot, there are some Disney’s BoardWalk and resort hotels on the way.
That vessel held up to 10 persons, while you can find others which hold 8. The trip contains bagged snacks (popcorn, potato chips) and cans of carbonated drinks. For an additional fee, you can order foods on board, like hors d’ouvres, alcohol, meals and so on. We ordered a customized birthday cake. You are not permitted to bring your own drink or food, it must be bought from Walt Disney.
For an extra $25 fee, you may have the vessel embellished with “Happy Birthday” signs and accessories. After the vessel cruises the lake, it parks at the Epcot’s World Showcase, providing you with an exclusive front-row seat for IllumiNations.
It’s really expensive for such a short trip, but for a person that really likes fireworks , like my wife, it is a great experience for a special occasion.
Another spot to watch the “Wishes” fireworks show is outside of Disney’s Magic Kingdom. My wife was so happy with the cruise for her 50th birthday.
These cruises book up very quickly. I don’t know if they can be booked 90 days out.
